Summer Cooking Camp in the Kitchen at Second Harvest

Join us in The Kitchen for four days of summer fun! Day 1: Pool Side Snacks. Take a break from the pool and create some delicious poolside treats! Create a yummy black bean quesadilla; pair it with a watermelon gazpacho for a refreshing combination. Day 2: Let’s Go Fishing! Reel in the good times and create your own Panko-crusted Tilapia, topped with a homemade mango salsa. Day 3: Make a Picnic Pack! Nothing says summer like a picnic in the park! Make your own Picnic-Go-Pack with oatmeal energy bites, fruit yogurt popsicle, and whole-wheat French toast. Day 4: Sizzling Summer Supper. Nothing is better than a delicious burger after playing in the summer sun. Make your own black bean burger alongside scrumptious sweet potato fries. Classes are 2-4 p.m. For ages eight-12.
